The tempered glass lid includes a steam vent and is encased in a stainless steel rim. The riveted stainless steel handles are strong, remain cool to the touch, and offer a comfortable grip. Please note that this saucepan is not compatible with induction cooktops but works well on gas, electric, glass, ceramic, and halogen stoves. It is oven safe up to 450F, but the glass lid should not be used in the oven. Hand washing is recommended as this saucepan is not dishwasher safe.
